Limited Edition Hatch Chile Ice Cream

by L.A. Creamery News 0 Comments

If you haven’t been made aware, let me just inform you that we are crazy for Hatch Chiles at Bristol Farms. So, it was a no-brainer when we were provided with an opportunity to partner with local ice cream artisans from L.A. Creamery to develop a Bristol Farms exclusive, limited edition Hatch Chile Ice Cream to offer our customers during Hatch Chile season. You may be skeptical, but I assure you – if you love Hatch Chiles, you will LOVE this ice cream. The flavor delivers the perfect peppery zing and smokiness from the chile, and finishes off with a zesty aftertaste. Those that shy away from spicy foods need not worry – the cream cuts any spice you would typically get from Hatch Chiles.

Our Hatch Chile ice cream is great enjoyed on its own, but we had the pleasure of enjoying a scoop sandwiched between two of our Hatch Chocolate Cherry Cookies from our Bakery. This was a winner! This ultimate Hatch Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich is a must try.

These ice creams were made in small artisan batches exclusively for Bristol Farms and will only be around until they sell out. So, starting August 22nd, grab them while you can! Let us know how you enjoy it.

In response to the growing demand for all-natural desserts, L.A. Creamery Artisan Ice Cream’s creative think tank is pleased to announce three new ice-cream flavors: Brown Butter Toffee Crunch, Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle and Peanut Butter Cup + Chocolate. The three flavors are available in 14-ounce-sized containers at a suggested retail price of $5.99 and join the creamery’s other all-natural ice cream favorites such as Soft Serve Salted Caramel, Honeycomb, Salted Chocolate and Madagascar Vanilla in grocery freezer sections at Gelson’s Markets, Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres, selected Albertsons and other fine markets throughout Southern California.

“We spent eight months sourcing the finest all-natural ingredients for our new flavors. The toffee for the Brown Butter Toffee Crunch is gluten-free, all natural, and Kosher certified and sourced from Oregon. It’s made with Pure Cane Sugar and Northern California almonds. The chocolate in the Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle is from Reggio Emilia, Italy. We also hand chop delicious Organic Hazelnuts from Eugene, Oregon which can be tasted in every bite. The flavor is like your favorite chocolate hazelnut spread in ice cream form,” said Co-Founder Stephen Bikoff.
