L.A. Creamery is currently donating a portion of proceeds from the sales of Boyle Heights Cajeta to Girls Today Women Tomorrow!

Located in Boyle Heights, Girls Today Women Tomorrow (GTWT) was first founded in 1996 to address the lack of gender-specific programming for females in East Los Angeles, where high school dropout and teenage pregnancy rates were unacceptably high. Today, GTWT has expanded to serve more than 200 local girls each year with staff outreach to over 1,500 young ladies through school presentations, resource fairs and small-group workshops. GTWT builds programs designed to prepare inner-city girls for achievement and leadership and provides a space for youth, community members and families to develop the skills they need to build a strong community. The programs developed to build these skills operate on a foundation of four pillars: (1) Education, (2) Leadership and Mentoring, (3) Service and (4) Wellness. Through implementation of their four pillars, GTWT has achieved a 100% graduation and college enrollment rate for its participants over the last several years. L.A. Creamery is proud to support Girls Today Women Tomorrow as it works to teach girls the skills needed to become future leaders.
