L.A. Creamery is currently donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of Arts District Stout & Pretzels to LeadersUp in the Arts District.

LeadersUp aims to “widen the circle of opportunity” by connecting a multicultural talent pool of young job seekers between the ages of 18 and 24 with employers in need of diverse and qualified talent to fill critical entry to mid-skill level roles.  Young job seekers are given skills training that emphasizes qualities including perseverance, work ethic, effective communication and teamwork, and are then connected with a network of local companies invested in their ongoing development.  LeadersUp offers a range of programs to address disparities in employment opportunities, including the Fair Chance Coalition, encouraging businesses to consider acquiring talented employees with criminal records by combating inherent biases, offering tools and resources to better understand justice-involved young adults, and providing access to a pipeline of ready-to-work talent.  L.A. Creamery is proud to support LeadersUp and their mission to bridge the employment opportunity divide that exists in under-served communities.   To learn about the good things that LeadersUp is doing for the Arts District and the broader Los Angeles community, check out: https://leadersup.org
