Located in Los Angeles, Farhang Foundation is a non-religious, non-political, and not-for-profit organization with the mission of celebrating and promoting Iranian art and culture for the enrichment of the community at large.  Farhang Foundation acts as a custodian for the ancient and beautiful Persian culture, focusing on funding Iranian cultural programs and exhibitions with local institutions and sponsoring family-friendly cultural events, such as art shows, musical performances, dances, plays and poetry readings.  Farhang strives to create cultural ambassadors by teaching that the sharing of cultures plays an essential role in promoting understanding and fostering dialogue between individuals of varying nationalities.  L.A.
